    President - Lt. Anthony "Tony" Munoz (Retired)

    Alameda Police Department

    Lt. Munoz has served as CPYC Board President since 2015. He has spent his entire law enforcement career with the Alameda Police Department and is a past president of the California Narcotics Officers Association and a former P.O.S.T. Commissioner, appointed by Governor Jerry Brown. Lt. Munoz brings a level of professionalism combined with a real sense of community and is highly respected amongst his peers in the law enforcement community.

  • Board Vice President - Tony Gonzales

    Vice President - Tony Gonzales

    Oakland Raiders

    Tony Gonzales has been involved with CPYC programs for many years. As the former longtime team photographer for the Oakland Raiders, he has lent his expertise in the field of photography to document many of CPYC’s programs. Tony joined the CPYC Board of Directors in 2015.

  • Secretary - Chief Terry McManus (Retired)

    Secretary - Chief Terry McManus (Retired)

    Chief McManus grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area but moved to San Diego when he joined the San Diego Police Department after his college graduation. He spent the next 30 years working his way up to Assistant Chief of Police at San Diego PD before leaving that department to become the Chief of Police in the coastal city of Capitola, California for the next five years. Upon retirement from Capitola PD, Chief McManus became the Chief Investigator for the Solano County H&SS where he currently works. Chief McManus is heavily involved in community policing and believes wholeheartedly in the CPYC Mission of bridging the gap between kids and cops. Chief McManus has been a Board Member of CPYC since its incorporation in 2002.

  • Board Member - Lt. Greg Garrett

    Board Member - Lt. Greg Garrett

    Alameda Police Department (Retired)

    Greg Garrett retired from the Alameda Police Department several years ago with the rank of Lieutenant. Greg joined the CPYC Board of Directors in 2002 at the very beginning. Greg is the former head of security for the Oakland Raiders. Greg Garrett has been one of the most active members of CPYC’s Board when it comes to working with kids. He has spent hundreds of hours over the years interacting and mentoring youth throughout the state of California.

  • Board Member - Tony "The Tiger" Lopez

    3x World Boxing Champion

    Tony “The Tiger” Lopez is a retired professional boxer who won world championships in the Light Featherweight and Light Welterweight Divisions of professional boxing. He beat Rocky Lockridge for the IBF Super Featherweight Title which was named Ring Magazine’s “Fight of the Year” in 1988. In 1990 he became one of only a few World Champions to win their title back from the person they lost it to when he beat John John Molina for his second world title. He was named Ring Magazine’s “Comeback Fighter of the Year” after that fight. Tony won his third title when he won the WBA Lightweight title when he knocked out Joey Gamache in 1992. A huge fan favorite, especially in Northern California, Tony has lent his time and resources to giving talks to kids throughout the State of California. Tony makes appearances at many youth events on behalf of CPYC. He is currently a Bail Bondsman and owns his own Plumbing Service and lives in his home town of Sacramento, California.

  • Board Member - John "J.T. The Brick" Tournour

    Board Member - John "J.T. The Brick" Tournour

    J.T. The Brick is a well-known sports radio host living in Las Vegas, Nevada. He hosts his extremely popular “Brick At Night With J.T. The Brick” on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s Mad Dog Sports radio in addition to a local Vegas show on KRLV and various media programs for the Las Vegas Raiders including the team’s pregame show. A native of New York, J.T. graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1987 with a degree in Speech Communication.

    J.T. is a founding board member of California Police Youth Charities and continues to assist in youth programs throughout California.

  • Board Member - Chief Mark Gillmore

    Board Member - Chief Mark Gillmore

    Brawley Police Department (Retired)

    Chief Gillmore retired in 2015 from the Brawley Police Department where he spent the majority of his 30 year law enforcement career. A progressive manager, Mark brought the Brawley Police Department into the modern law enforcement era after he took over as the Chief. Part of that modernization was the implementation of programs that greatly reduced youth crime by providing positive role models and productive activities for youth within his community. Chief Gillmore is actively involved in many youth programs through his church. Chief Gillmore has also been a CPYC Board Member since CPYC’s inception.
